Oh how I love to live by the sea side, oops i mean oh how I do love to live in the mountains.

Hello fellow Kazam's you may have noticed the difference in my blogging. Yes that's right my hubby and I got an amazing rescue dog. He's a 15months old beagle and I am totally in love. You may have heard that beagles are naughty little dogs, but he is being very well behaved and an absolute dream to be around. I do know about this honey mood period that rescue dogs go through. So fingers crossed Oscar is like this and isn't just being a nice house visitor. 

My life since I have got Oscar has changed dramatically, I am getting up 2hours earlier to walk to the local golf course which is his most common walk as it is so close and all round fantastic. It is an amazing walk where he gets to sniff his way through the woods to get there. The whole golf course is surrounded by the river Spey or the woods. The walk lets us take in the beautiful Cairngorm mountains in the not so far distance as well as the lovely flowing sound of the river Spey down one side of the golf course. Its times like these I need to take a breath to realize how lucky I am. Even if I don't have as much money in the bank as others, even if I don't have a nice car, or even I nice bicycle I still have my wonderful life in Aviemore in the mountains. It's been a great way to wake up and see why I pay far too much rent to be here. Its amazing. 

I do come from Perth Western Australia and I do miss the ocean, but the mountains make me smile in the morning. I love the fact that my post office, post box looks like it should be in a museum and I can hear the wind howling outside letting me know what I'm in for today.
