how to furnish a house for almost nothing!!

All we needed for £40.... i love second hand finds.

We got a new pleather green 3 seater couch £30,
Old school wood table and 4 chairs £10... bargin and a half. Both from buy swap and dell on facebook.
Coffee table free thanks to the amazing owners at the old brigde Inn.
Computer table from my boss for free which my hubby and I smashed the top off to make a table in the corner to put the mass of photo frames we have up.

All for just £40, I highly suggest facebook buy swap and sell groups. They are amazing. I no longer have to eat sitting on a piece of foam on the floor at 31 weeks pregnant. woo hoo!

Now I wake up and feel like I'm in someone elses house but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

the naughty/creative corner

Well the sprinkle of kazam yesterday morning was the creative corner for me.. I could not wait to get crafty. I know traditionally it is the naughty corner but I have made a dam fine creative corner at my new not so large apartment in the highlands.

ok so these are for me. I was meant to give them to my mum as a bday pressie but the enamelling didn't work so I claimed them as my own for a wee treat to myself.
Inspiration came from a road trip I took latterly to the isle of Skye. Amazing.. xx

bebe bump

I am happy to announce at the old/young age of 30 I am pregnant. I must admit I have been very lazy with blog land since I have found out. I simply like to sleep soooo much more.
But I'm back in the world of blogging and would love to share my bebe belly pics with any one and everyone.

22 weeks bebe bump.

Oh yeah and I have recently turned 30, huge amount of happiness is flowing from me at the moment. I'm madly in love, 27 weeks pregnant for the first time ever and winter is coming to an end and I will be seeing sunshine soon.

Loads more pics of bebe bump and its growth from 10 weeks to right now on my facebook page.

Dreams do come true....

I am so happy so say KAZAM designs has been invited to 3 Christmas markets this year. This is my first Christmas with my wee company and I am sooo excited to be going to the markets. I
have always been a massive fan of markets myself and now I will have my own little stall. Yay.

I can not believe the support I have got online with my new KAZAM designs Silver range. Using sterling silver for nature inspired charms on elegant trace sterling silver chains. Within 10 minutes of adding my first piece to my facebook page I had an online request for a custom order. 5 days latter the charm and necklace was in the mail to Italy and the money was in my paypal account. Amazing. I have always dreamt of working with silver and now my dreams have come true. I can't believe the feel of accomplishment I get when I'm polishing up my pieces at the final stage and the butterflies I get when I'm working with the silver. I just feel so lucky. So glad I stuck at it and got my craft on. What a great month October was for me.

KAZAm designs Silver in now in the Cairngorm Christmas markets till Dec 16th. It will also be coming to the markets all over the highlands with me. I have to get busy as all my pieces have sold online so must create some more. I have a new leaf design up and coming. Love it sooo much .Hope you all do too.
But first  its time for a nice warm cuppa and cuddle with my beagle Oscar on the couch in my wee highland cottage.
love kaz . xx

my beautiful niece and nephew at 3 weeks old.

The things you miss out on when living in the highlands.

From my mums description earlier today Matthew is on the right and Madeline is on the left. Both doing just fine. Still in hospital but all is well. Very cute in their little knitted woolies.

All the best, wish I was there more than you could possibly imagine. (dam I'm crying a little bit )
Wishing all the Greens health and happiness.

this weeks adventures at the wee highland cottage...

What a week for getting that ever growing list done. I have taken time off work to get more KAZAM designs jewellery lines done. I have had such a great time using new techniques and new beads.

This week was a week to remember for me. I made a sterling silver charm called the swallow. I already have orders for turtles, butterflies and of course the ever so cute finger printing jewellery which I am doing a course in England over Christmas.

This week we also had our first snow of the season down in the town, so I grabbed my doggy and went for a wee walk in the nice chilled air catching snowflakes in our months as we walked
.

To finish the amazing week off with going to a craft fair to get some ideas for how to make my very first stall look on the 18th Dec in Edinburgh. Decided on the natural look for the table and went op (thrift) shopping and found an amazing throw over in an off white with a little bit of vintage feel to it. I got a wee bit distracted in the shop and found my self a treasure  A leather large handbag with long handles... I had to have it. All that for £6. Happy days. Now its time to play with my dog and wait for the postman to come hopfuly with more tools so i can make more sterling silver jewellery.

Yay want a great week. love kaz xx
how is your week going?
